We have not had opportunities to work with donors or obtain large funds yet. Our focus now is on self-financing and self-initiatives, and we have taken the following initiatives.

  • We organized, in cooperation with the Syrian Women’s Council, a workshop on violence against women under the title: “Women are the craftsmen of life, not abused.” The workshop lasted for two days and was held in Kobani and Srin. It was attended by (35) women in Kobani and the same in Srin on December 11, 2021.
  • We held a series of educational, educational and intellectual sessions, from December 25, 2021 to March 26, 2022 in Kobani, the aim of which was to bring views together, dialogue and consultation with community leaders on several issues and create a space for dialogue and harmony among the spectrum of society, and as we focused It also focuses on social issues such as: vulnerable society, women, children, adolescents, and those who need training to be self-reliant (empowerment).
  • We implemented the initiative: “Community participation is the basis for the success of the organizations’ work” in both Raqqa and Kobani, and we held two sessions in Raqqa and two sessions in Kobani for the local civil society, in which the initial assessment of needs was conducted and projects were discussed and we came out with proposals and recommendations, some of which turned into games that we are working on.
  • We worked on implementing a project: “Psychological Support Sessions for Women” in the city of Raqqa, the number of which has now reached nine sessions for sixteen volunteer women from the civil society, which lasted for four months with their own capabilities.
  • We also launched the “Literacy Eradication” initiative in Raqqa, and we are still working on registering applications to start implementing them.
